Introductory Pillow Class

In this class Alice goes over the basics of pillow making including choosing the right insert and fabric, pattern placement, and installing zippers. She covers three basic styles starting with a plain or “knife edge” pillow, and progresses to a pre-made trim or fringe and a custom made bias-welt.

This class is lecture-based and includes a comprehensive syllabus, lots of visual aids, and many helpful tips and tricks for getting professional looking results at home!

This class requires basic sewing skills.

Advanced Pillow Class

In this class Alice expands upon the skills taught in our Introductory Pillow Class, while covering more complicated styles like modified box, flange, and round bolsters.

This class requires intermediate sewing skills, and a completion of the Introductory Pillow Class.

Curtain Class

In this class Alice goes over the basics of curtain making including choosing the right fabric, figuring yardage, pattern matching, and installing linings. She also covers the four most common styles of curtains starting with a rod pocket and then progresses to rings, tabs, and pleats.

The class is lecture-based and includes a comprehensive syllabus, lots of visual aids, and many helpful tips and tricks for getting professional looking results at home.

Intermediate sewing skills are required.
